The Neftegazmash-Tekhnologii has developed a special plant (see Fig. 1) for the fine cleaning of unweighted mud materials, and also for regeneration of the mud-weighting materials of weighted drilling muds during construction of oil and gas wells. Using pump 5, drilling mud from flooded trough 21 along chute 7 of the circulation system is delivered via pipeline 6 to funnel 2 with lateral channel (by-pass) 11 and filter 13. Here, the feed of drilling mud is normalized within the limits of the output of centrifuge 1 under the appropriate operating conditions using shut-off/regulating device 19 and flowmeter 14. When necessary, process liquid can be delivered to the centrifuge simultaneously with drilling mud via pipeline 22 and hydraulic mixer 15, using shut-off/regulating fitting 16 and flowmeter 17. The total feed of initial product to the centrifuge (drilling mud together with process liquid) is established with consideration of the output of the centrifuge as a function of the conditions and the type of its operation (cleaning drilling mud of drilling slime, or regeneration of the mud-weighting material).
