摘要

Known data on the influence exerted by gas properties (density and viscosity) on pressure loss for an ascending concurrent flow are processed. An empirical equation is proposed for determination of a correction factor dependent on the density and viscosity of the gas. It is demonstrated that the effect of gas viscosity on pressure loss for an ascending concurrent flow assumes practical significance in high-temperature processes.
