EQUIPMENT FOR MONITORING PIPELINE INTERNAL CORROSION

Questions of instrument monitoring of pipeline internal corrosion rate and the standard technical basis, governing requirements for the construction and location of internal corrosion indicators, are analyzed. Analysis of the construction of known corrosion indicators reveals considerable disadvantages, in particular a tendency towards air pollution. Engineering solutions are proposed making it possible to overcome air pollution of internal corrosion indicators, and they are patented as a useful model.
