Results are presented for experimental investigations of pressure loss in a cylindrical duct with sudden section enlargement and interaction between an axial gas cross-flow and several rows of radial gas jets. The influence exerted by basic structural parameters, and also the velocities of the axial cross-flow and jets on hydraulic characteristics of the process is examined.
