摘要

The article considers the possibility of varying the torque transmitted by a cylindrical magnetic coupling by altering the grade of high-coercivity permanent magnets of neodymium-iron-boron, samarium-cobalt, and barium ferrite types. Using the example of a standard magnetic coupling having a diameter of 120 mm relative to the magnets and an air gap of 7 mm between the magnets of the coupling halves, the possibility to alter the torque transmitted by the magnetic coupling without altering the overall dimensions of the coupling is demonstrated. Torque transmitted by a magnetic coupling can be varied by changing the shape, size, and grade of permanent magnets while retaining the same number of magnets in each coupling half.
