摘要

The effect of elevated temperature on strength properties of a steel 45 surface layer subjected to electromechanical treatment with dynamic application of deformation force (EMT with impact) is investigated. Results of studying the effect of shock electromechanical treatment current density on heat resistance of a hardened surface layer are presented. The nature and degree of reduction in microhardness and steel specimen surface-hardened layer thickness depending on the tempering temperature are established.
