Chemical Policy in the UK and Europe is under constant review and European governments have continued to commit to sustainable development and ensuring a high level of protection for human health, including worker's health and the environment, whilst promoting innovation and the competitiveness of European industry. The progress being made on the Globally Harmonised Hazard Classification and Labelling System (GHS) may also impact on CHIP and developments in European legislation.
