The renowned Win-OLT On Line Tension sensor system for false-twist draw-texturing machines was originally invented by Retech AG, Meisterschwanden/Switzerland in the early 1980's. In most countries the OLT sensors and systems were distributed together with Temco, Hammelburg/Germany, as partner. In 2009, Temco as a member of the Oerlikon Textile group had to transfer the sensor business to another member of this group and Retech decided to approach the market worldwide on its own.
