摘要

Two novel peroxo titanium complexes, Li_2(NH_4)_4[Ti_2(O_2)_2~-(cit)(Hcit)]_2-5H_2O and Zn(NH_4)_4[Ti4(O_2)_4(Hcit)_2(cit)_2] • 12H_2O (cit = citrate), show encouraging results in the photochemical oxidation of 2-propanol. Interest in the use of heterogeneous photocatalysis with titania to degrade a variety of environmental pollutants is intense and increasing. Active species are generated at the TiO~2 surface under UV irradiation, and various substances in solution are decomposed, mainly via oxidation reactions.
