Homogeneous glycopeptide analogues of fish antifreeze glycoproteins of discrete oligomeric length have been synthesised using a native chemical ligation-desulfurisation strategy.rnAntifreeze proteins (AFPs) and antifreeze glycoproteins (AFGPs) (Fig. 1), found in the body fluids of many fish in polar and subpolar oceans allow them to survive in waters colder than the equilibrium freezing point of their blood and other internal fluids.
