This work firstly reports an opto-magnetic interaction-induced enhancement of electrochemiluminescence (ECL) from CdS: Mn nanocrystals (NCs) film by superparamagnetic Fe_3O_4 nanoparticles and its application to sensitive immunosensing.rnThe demand for clinical diagnosis, treatment of genetic diseases and pharmaceutical studies has triggered an intensive search for biosensors capable of ultrasensitive detection of proteins, DNA sequences, and their interactions. An active research area is the field of optical biosensors where the analyte information is gathered by measurement of optical signals such as absorption and luminescence.
