Dehydrocoupling of dimethylamine-borane catalysed by rhenium complexes and its application in olefin transfer-hydrogenations

Re(Ⅰ) complexes are applied as catalysts for the dehydrocoupling of Me_2NH·BH_3 and the transfer-hydrogenation of olefins.rnRecently there has been increasing interest in the development of transition-metal-catalysed reactions which allow the generation of new bonds between main group elements. In particular, the dehydrocoupling of amine-borane adducts catalysed by transition metal complexes have become more and more important with respect to hydrogen storage.
