Cement project activities of Krupp Polysius AG in 2000

In April 2000, the QUADROPOL~® at Rohrbach Zement GmbH & Co. KG was already producing convincing results after a short commissioning phase. In Dotternhausen the roller mill is responsible for the raw meal production at a rate of 130 t/h and a fineness of < 18 % residue on a 90 mi-cron sieve. The significant value for the rotary kiln is < 1 % residue on 200 micron sieve. The plant owner sees a great advantage in the ability to quickly change over between 2 and 4 roller Operation without stopping the mill. This al-lows direct adjustment of the raw meal production rate to the kiln's requirements.
