Gypsum-zeolite boards for improving the quality of indoor air (Part 1)

Im Rahmen eines Europäischen Forschungsprojekts wurden neuartige Bauplatten auf der Basis Calciumsulfat-Dihydrat - Clinoptilolith entwickelt. Diese neuartigen Bauplatten können die Konzentration bestimmter Raumluftschadstoffe signifikant reduzieren. In dem ersten Teil wird auf Herstellung, Hintergründe und physikalische Grundlagen eingegangen. Der Teil 2 wird sich mit der Bestimmung der Schadstoffabsorption im Labor- und Feldversuch beschäftigen.%New types of building boards based on calcium sulfate dihydrate and clinoptilolite have been developed as part of a European research project. These new types of building boards can significantly reduce the concentration of certain harmful substances in indoor air. The first part of the article describes the production, background and physical principles. The second part will deal with laboratory and field trials for determining the absorption of harmful substances.
