Sitrans LR460 continues success in Hover

Holcim (Deutschland) AG is the largest producer of construction material in northern Germany, producing more than 4 million t annually of binding material; about 1.7 million m3 of concrete and approximately 3.2 million t of aggregates. Holcim has more than 150 years of experience in the production of construction material. In the Hover cement factory (Fig. 1), Holcim produces 1 million t/a of various kinds of cement. To maintain its high quality and environmental standards, the Hover plant is modernizing its processes.%Die Holcim (Deutschland) AG ist mit einer jährlichen Produktion von gut 4 Mio. t Bindemitteln, rund 1,7 Mio. m~3 Beton und rund 3,2 Mio. t Zuschlagsstoffen Norddeutschlands größter Baustoffproduzent. Holcim hat in Deutschland fast 150 Jahre Erfahrung in der Baustoffproduktion. Im Zementwerk Höver (Bild 1) werden jährlich 1 Mio. t Zement verschiedener Sorten produziert. Um ihren hohen Quali-täts- und Umweltstandards gerecht zu werden, unterliegt das Werk Höver einer ständigen Modernisierung.
