New Chairman and Vice-Chairman of NCCBM appointed

The Board of Governors of the National Council for Cement and Building Materials (NCCBM), an autonomous RεtD organization under the administrative control of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Govt. of India, has appointed Mr. K C Jhanwar as its new Chairman and Mr. Neeraj Akhoury as its new Vice-Chairman for the year 2021 and 2022. Mr K C Jhanwar is the Managing Director of UltraTech Cement Ltd., one of the largest cement manufacturers of India. He is also the Director of the Board of Aditya Birla Management Corporation Pvt. Ltd. He has a career spanning more than 40 years and started his career with the Cement Business of the Aditya Birla Group in 1981. He has worked across finance, operations and general management roles in the cement and chemical sectors and has exceptional relationship building skills with customers. He is a Chartered Accountant by qualification. He is the President of the Cement Manufacturer's Association (CMA).
