(57) The invention relates to a method for determining the content of quartz, calcite and dolomite with critical sizes from a mixture of raw materials for Portland cement clinker preparation. The claimed method consists in wet sifting, on the sieve of 125 μm, followed by optical microscopy on the resulting wet residue, for determining the content of calcite with sizes higher than 125 μm, or successively dissolving the wet residue in acetic acid solution and hydrochloric acid solution, followed by determining the content of dolomite, namely, wet sifting on the sieve of 45 μm, followed by dissolving the residue in hydrochloric acid solution, followed by determining the content of quartz with sizes higher than 45 μm by optical microscopy.
