National Cement Share Company, Ethiopia, to commence cement production in November

The National Cement Share Company (NCSC), Ethiopia, which had initiated its cement plant expansion project at a cost of Birr 1.8 billion (almost US$ 100 million at the current rate) in 2005, will bring its clinker to the market in October and cement in November 2012, says Busa Assefa (Eng.), Chief Executive Officer of the company, reports the All Africa Global Media. According to him, the plant will be fully operational three months later.
