Iran: cement output exceeds 64 million tonnes in eleven months

The Tehran Times reported that Iran produced over 64.1 million tonnes of cement in the first eleven months of the current Iranian calendar year which began on March 20th 2012. The figure was 5.6 % higher compared to the same period in the previous year. Iran's cement output will reach 75 million tonnes by the end of current Iranian calendar year. Iran plans to increase its cement output up to 85 million tonnes by the end of the next Iranian calendar year and to export 12 million tonnes of cement in the current calendar year.
