China: 160 million t/a clinker production capacity added in 2012

According to the preliminary statistics from the China Cement Association in 2012, 124 NSP cement production lines were newly brought into production. The new added clinker production capacity is 160 million t/a, including three production lines with an output of 10 000 t/a and above, which accounts for 6.58 % of the new added total production capacity; 75 production lines with an output between 4 000 to 8 000 t/d, which accounts for 70.47 %; 45 production lines with an output from 2 000 to 4 000 t/d, which accounts for 22.81 %; one production line with an output of 1 500 t/d, which accounts for 0.29%.
