Ari Hong Kong (AHK) will dry-lease at least three 747-400BCFs from majority shareholder CATHAY PACIFIC. The first of these has already been put into service between Hong Kong and Singapore. The second and third units will be added by the end of the year, and used to serve Tokyo and Shanghai. Using the much larger 747 freighters on the Singapore, Tokyo, and Shanghai lanes will allow AHK to put extra A300-600F capacity on existing routes (particularly Beijing and Manila) and also to launch new services.
