AEI AND BOMBARDIER PARTNER FOR A LARGE-DOOR CRJ200 FREIGHTER

A large-door conversion program for the CRJ200 is in the works. Miami- based Aeronautical Engineers Inc (AEI) reached an agreement with Canadian aircraft manufacturer Bombardier Aerospace "to explore market interest in a Large Cargo Door (LCD) freighter conversion program for the Bombardier CRJ200." AEI said that, assuming it was satisfied there was sufficient customer interest, it would formally launch the program by the end of this vear, with first deliveries to follow bv 2015.
