Precision Aircraft Solutions received European (EASA) certification to convert 757-200 passenger aircraft with winglets to freighter and combi configurations. Precision received FAA certification for conversion of winglet-equipped 757-200s two years ago. Antonov completes first fuselage assembly for new freighter. Ukraine-based Antonov completed the fuselage assembly of the first An-178, the freighter variant of the company's An-148 regional jet. Antonov believes the twin-jet freighter will see strong demand as a military transport and in commercial service, particularly to replace older types such as the turboprop An-12.
