If there was a common theme running through the presentations and the discussions in the hallways and at the social events, it was relief that demand for air freight was on the rise after several ugly years, tempered by concern that yields were still stuck at an untenably low level. A record crowd of senior executives from all branches of the air cargo industry, and from all over the world, gathered at the Langham Hotel in Hong Kong early this month for Cargo Facts Asia 2014 - the third edition of what has undeniably become the region's premier annual industry event.
