The Callide Oxyfuel Project, based in Queensland, Australia, has announced the integration of a Callide coal-fired power station with carbon capture technology, thereby heralding entry of the project into the demonstration phase. The AU$ 208 billion project is one of a handful of coal-fired low-emission projects in the world that has progressed from concept to construction.
