摘要

The growth of the air transport industry has been accompanied by an increase in its environmental impacts, including climate change. CO, is the most important GHG from aviation in terms of radiative forcing. Although CO, emissions from civil aviation comprised about only 3% of global emissions in 2008 [101], these emissions are expected to increase 1.3- to 5-fold of the 2006 levels by 2050 . This expected increase is due to the rapid expansion and estimated future growth of the aviation sector, and in turn is a result of globalization, increasing incomes, liberalization of the air transport market and appearance of new business models allowing for excessive use of air travel by people who never used to travel this way before.
