When it rains it pours

It's been particularly wet recently - that's thrown-up some unpleasant issues with soggy cars. The easiest fix was on a car that had just been fixed - a Boxster with a new roof. It turned out the new roof leaked as much as the old one, just through where it had been repaired. The other was a Mk1 Ford Focus, something I don't usually have a lot to do with - so I was more surprised to find that this car didn't seem to have any holes in it, also had wet carpets - but only on one side. Focus aficionados will probably be screaming at the page that this was down to the pollen filter and its seal coming loose. Thanks to some advice, that wasn't too painful to sort.
