Fault codes

My brother's 2012 Hyundai i10 1.2 keeps bringing up the fault codes P0014 and P0077.1 know these codes indicate the exhaust and inlet camshafts are showing as being too far advanced. This is often caused by clogged-up filters on the VVT actuator solenoid valves or a fault in the electrical circuit. I've cleaned the filters on the valves, checked the solenoids resistance and that they operate when connected to 12V. I've pin tested the circuit all the way back to the ECU connector.
