For the first time in 250 years the upper and lower sections of the Warwickshire Avon have come under the same ownership, and to mark this the new combined Avon Navigation Trust has published this guide to the complete navigation.rnFor every reach of the river there is a visitor guide section describing the scenery, tourist attractions and local amenities, navigation notes, a sketch map and colour photographs. The book also includes useful contact details, a mileage chart, a table of shops available in each town and village and a short history of the waterway.
