I have been told my engine is worn out and an overhaul will cost about ￡1600.rnI have been offered another SR2 (10hp at 1500rpm) that has been in a barn but runs well with no smoke. I'm concerned, though, that my old engine is rated at18hp at 2000rpm and I don't understand the relationship of hp to rpm. Can you help? Can I use this engine in my boat?
