As one bridge damaged by an overloaded farm trailer is carefully repaired, another bridge on the same canal suffers a similar fatern- and British Waterways is losing patience with careless drivers hitting its historic structures. The Grade 2-listed Bridge 20 on the Trent & Mersey Canal, a sizeable section of which was wrecked last summer, has had to be repairedrnto the satisfaction of English Heritage.
