PLA warns narrowboaters after sinking in the Thames

Following An Incident in late August when five people had to be rescued from the tidal Thames after their narrowboat sank (see CB, November), the Port of London Authority has issued a safety bulletin highlighting the causes of the sinking and recommending precautions for those taking inland boats onto the tideway.
