Les Etheridge Has been confirmed as the new national Chairman of the Inland Waterways Association, having been elected by the charity's trustees after Clive Henderson chose not to seek re-election after four years in the post. An IWA member for 30 years and its national Treasurer since 2008, Mr Etheridge has owned a boat since 1985. In recent years he has been involved in the Association's Tom Rolt Appeal to raise funds to restore Inglesham Lock on the Cotswold Canals, and in planning next year's Trailboat Festival at Bodiam in East Sussex.
