Q I am trying to order a new thermostat for a BMC 1.5 engine, raw water cooled through a Bowman manifold, but have been asked for the temperature and there isn't one on the old thermostat. Do you know which it should be? Also, is there a trick for torquing the cylinder head bolts down as some are underneath the tappet shaft that also has head bolts going through the alloy mounts?
