100 chase CRT top job

The Vacancy For a new Chief Executive for the Canal & River Trust has had over 100 applications. In November 2012 Robin Evans tendered his resignation after ten years leading the national navigation authority - the last five months at the head of the new charity whose creation he had championed; and the remainder with its predecessor the nationalised British Waterways. His notice period expires in May and the search for a successor began with the position being advertised in the Sunday Times in January.
