Scotland backs BSS

Scottish Waterway Users have come out in favour of staying in the Boat Safety Scheme following the split between the Canal & River Trust and Scottish Canals - the public body now running canals north of the border. An SC consultation asked whether boaters, commercial operators, BSS examiners, industry organisations and the BSS itself wanted to keep the scheme in Scotland, or get rid of it.
