Land, water (and groceries...)

We were "land lubbers" for a bit! We had left Epiphany at Swanley Bridge Marina on the Llangollen Canal for her hull to be re-blacked with two-pack epoxy paint. The bad weather delayed the work so, after a quick visit back from London to inspect progress and collect some things, we relocated to Lancaster for another week. Land dwelling for a fortnight, we realised how easy it is to take things for granted. Electricity is available and unlimited at the touch of a switch, water always comes out of a running tap and a quick flush does not have to be quick! There is no need to keep an eye on battery charge, to work out where the next water point is before doing a wash load or to worry that we have almost used all three of our toilet cassettes.
