The problem's an easy one to sum up. What it comes down to is that there are a lot of you out there who are sick to the back teeth of the situation where you've spent large amounts of money on hiring boats, or even larger amounts on buying and maintaining one, only to find that when you go cruising there are no mooring spots available at the places you want to stop. On the other hand there are an equal amount of you cruising around the system for longer periods at a more sedate pace who are exasperated that some of the nicest spots on the system where you'd like to stay longer are restricted 48 hour moorings established, it seems, just for hire boats and those who want bolt around barely stopping to explore the places they pass through.
