In a month when a major boat-builder admitted - or was that confessed? - that the majority of his widebeams were being taken to London as starter homes, it is as well to make one thing clear from the outset about the so-called 'continuous moorers' of our capital city.If push comes to shove and there's a showdown between the interests of young Londoners living on boats who play a key role in the city's economy, and a couple of thousand of us who wouldn't mind a holiday cruise to take in a few West End shows and a trip to the Tower, then we don't stand a snowball in hell's chance of getting priority.
