Back in the spring of 2018,I took on what can only be called a rusty old wreck of a narrowboat. Being in love with these British icons and very rarely seeing one on the Norfolk Broads - or in this case on the banks of the river -I somewhat felt very sorry for it. After chopping down the nettles and the undergrowth, I discovered a very rusty little 30ft vessel full of holes. Quite what came over me I'm still not really sure to this day but what I did know is I just had to have it.
