One of two new bridges is seen taking shape as work continues on a project funded by Highways England to reinstate the Stroudwater Navigation's crossing of the A38 main road as part of the Cotswold Canals restoration. Paid for with a £4m grant from a pot of public money earmarked specifically for remediation of damage caused by earlier road construction work, the bridges will take the canal through the middle of the roundabout where the A38 meets the A419 near Eastington.
