Marcel Boyer is Emeritus Professor of Economics at the Universite de Montreal, where he spent his whole academic career. There, he was the Bell Canada Professor of Industrial Economics and the Jarislowsky-SSHRC-NSERC Professor of Technology and International Competition. Marcel Boyer has authored or co-authored more than 260 scientific articles and policy reports, mainly on investment valuation; innovation and competition; institutions and public policy; environmental law; and law and economics. He has published in some of the best journals of our profession including the Canadian Journal of Economics, the Journal of Finance, the International Economic Review, the Journal of Economic Theory, the Quarterly Journal of Economics, and the Journal of Public Economics.
