GDS Spring Summer 2016: It's not the quantity, it's the quality

The most recent edition of GDS and tag it! were held in Dusseldorf from July 29-31. Approximately 15,000 visitors came to see the Spring and Summer collections shown by 900 exhibitors at GDS and the offerings of 233 exhbitors at tag it! the private label show for shoes and accessories. Organizers would have liked to see an increase in attendance, but were pleased that those who came to GDS rated their experience highly. Celebrities, top models and soccer stars added a touch of glamour at the booths, there were exhibits of trend projections and new talent, presentations of cut- ting edge - almost futuristic technologies, catwalk shows and overall, visitors felt that attending GDS was a great opportunity to get an overview of where footwear and accessories are headed.
