Gallery Shoes: An exciting vibe and modern footwear

The most recent edition of Gallery Shoes, the German show of footwear and accessories was held in Dusseldorf from March 10-12. The show was attended by 9800 professional visitors despite challenging weather conditions that most likely resulted in a lot of local cancellations. Bad weather didn't dampen the enthusiasm of visitors, or exhibitors at the Areal Bohler, however. Carl-August Seibel, president of the German association of the footwear and leather goods industry pointed out that in addition to the excellent atmosphere, another bonus is that the shoes are shown within the context of fashion and the latest trends: "Important added value is offered here and everyone can get a lot out of it." Brands are presented in an open format, there are catwalk shows, trend zones, and fashion forecast talks that encourage creativity and innovation.
