Charter Divests 316K Subscribers

Charter Communications continues to divest its non-strategic systems. In the latest transaction, the MSO 3/22 signed an agreement with Orange Broadband to transfer 69.4K revenue generating units for an undisclosed amount. The planned sale of cable assets is Charter's second in the past month intended to raise cash to temporarily improve the company's liquidity position. These systems have 43.7K basic, 12.3K digital and 13.4K HSD customers in parts of Nevada, Colorado, New Mexico and Utah, and were part of a larger auction of cable businesses with some 400K subs.
