"Right now, cloud computing is in the 'slope of enlightenment' phase of the hype cycle," says Khazret Sapenov-the founder and CEO of Toronto-based Cloudcor Inc. The state of the cloud will be among the topics discussed at Cloud Slam 11 (cloudslam.org)-Cloudcor's third annual industry conference-April 18-22 in Mountain View, Calif. Cloudcor expects more than 10,000 participants from around the world, both in person and virtually. There's an expo showcase, and a live event on April 18 in Silicon Valley, but, fittingly, most of the presenters and attendees will participate virtually.
