China will continue to open up its economy and expand cooperation with its economic partners in the future, said Chinese President Xi Jinping in his keynote speech at the opening ceremony of the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) Annual Conference 2018 on April 10.Addressing more than 2,000 politicians, scholars and business and media leaders from over 60 countries and regions at the four-day event in South China's tropical Hainan Province, Xi began his speech by reviewing China's successful experience over the past four decades since the adoption of economic reforms in 1978.Xi described how the Chinese people have unleashed and enhanced productivity in China through hard work and an unyielding spirit.
