The general aviation industry suffered a slight setback in 2017, with revenues dipping 3.6% compared to those in 2016, according to the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA). Business jet deliveries, though, slumped to their lowest level since the beginning of the Great Recession in 2008, according to Rolland Vincent, president of the Piano, Texas, consulting firm bearing his name and creator of Jetnet IQ, a quarterly business aviation market intelligence report created in partnership with Jetnet LLC of Utica, New York. GAMA says the turboprop market also declined 3.3% to 563 deliveries.
