First time around, the man who is this year's president of the Omnibus Society and chairman of Album, the local bus operators' association, ran Western National for Badgerline and then First. Since 1997, he has turned Western Greyhound from a fledgling five-coach fleet into what today, with over 100 vehicles, is the largest bus operator in Cornwall. And one of the best in the country, judged Independent Operator of the Year in the UK Bus Awards of 2006, 2008 and 2009 - and runner up (to Konectbus) in 2007.
