Mystery still cloaks the eventual fate of the 500 or so yellow buses replaced in the big bang revolution. Around 70 vehicles are being retained by owners (we think), some have already arrived at scrapyards, some buses are being retained at the dockyards for possible preservation, more King Longs are likely to be acquired by Arriva and most, if not all, the BMC Falcons will be brought to the UK for resale.
